Creating this record was the most fulfilling challenge of my life and I’m sure it is at least up there for the rest of the members of the band. To make this album with Mike, Daniel and Patsos was the biggest blessing I could’ve asked for and we are all so eternally grateful for the warm response it has received over the last 6 months.
The fact that we are approaching 30k streams on the record is just mind boggling and seeing songs like “You Make Me Wonder” just reach a milestone of 13k is equally as staggering. What means even more is seeing you all out at the shows, having a blast and singing along to our songs. “Oh Wah Oh’ing” to YMMW and dancing along as we play Madame Marie, it’s just the greatest feeling in the world.
We went into this with no expectations… I had never even performed an original song live before recording this album… i don’t even think we understood what we were getting into when we got on Zoom and talked about recording some songs. But I’m so glad we did because it led to the thing I am most proud of in my life and to the bonds I built with the Mike, Patsos and Daniel as we created this record in our apartments, living rooms and basements. We’d like to thank you all from the very bottom of our hearts for welcoming the Wah Wahs into your hearts.
