When COVID struck in the spring of 2020, live music everywhere came to a halt, and they took the opportunity to self- record their debut album, Come What May. This 10-track album released in the spring of 2022, is packed with dense vocal harmonies, string sections, exciting and unpredictable songs and has already garnered over 28,000 streams on Spotify.
Champagne Charlie & the Wah Wahs returned to the stage in the fall of 2021, playing to packed bars, stages, and house venues in the greater Boston Area.

An original member of CCDubs, Patsos was essential to the beginnings of the band. Meeting Mike and Brady after answering an ad for a backing band, he helped found Champagne Charlie and planted the bands feet firmly on the ground with his steadfast work ethic and calming demeanor. Recording all of the bass on “Come What May”, his elusive baselines compliment the songs perfectly and have become a defining characteristic of the album. His far out playing and jazz influences drove the the bands live sound in a compelling new direction and his skills in barbershop and vocal arranging helped bring the studio albums’ ambitious arrangements to the live stage. Moving back to Cleveland in the summer of ‘22, you can still see Grant with the Wah Wahs at select shows most recently finishing a stint with the band in August of ‘22. Daniel’s hard work and commitment to seeing the album to fruition can not be understated and is an absolutely essential part of the albums creation and “Come What May” proudly bears Tavani’s sonic footprint.
